We launched the Twitch Rivals web page today. This site looks small (it’s doesn’t even need a nav), but it’s a giant advance in tech for us. That last few days of the project saw us diving into GitHub, Jekyll, and Figma so we could collaborate directly with the Twitch marketing team.
The site makes content update easy. All Twitch Rivals events are pulled directly from the popular tournament organization website, smash.gg, via GraphQL.
But enough about us – look at what Twitch is doing for streamers and viewers: 100+ events each year, an environment designed to promote hard-working entertainers, stacks of prize money as a reward, and endless hours of captivating, competitive gameplay.
What a great way to kick off 2019. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Texas Showdown is the premier Texas tournament for fighting games. It needs a premier logo to match. Our challenge is to create a dynamic, exciting, recognizable esports logo. It will appear on websites, displays, trophies, stream overlays, commentary backdrops, t-shirts, and more.

Off-page search engine optimization tactics
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) refers to the techniques that people use to improve the rank of their website on popular search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and more. Ranking higher on these search engines is key to visibility. In short, the higher you rank, the more likely a user will click on your website’s link and visit your page.
SEO is not a new concept, nor is it a static one. As you can imagine, with the creation of more and more websites every day, ranking is very competitive. Search engines constantly update their algorithms to ensure that the right pages rank the highest.
SEO techniques can be broken down into two categories: On-page SEO and Off-page SEO. On-Page SEO describes techniques that are directly implemented on your website, including new content, links, tags, and descriptions to your page. Off-Page SEO techniques are not directly implemented on your website, but can help bring attention to it and build its online reputation. When both On-page SEO and Off-page SEO techniques are implemented, you have a better chance of ranking over your competition.

On-page search engine optimization tactics
Here at A Graphic Advantage!, we’ve been working on our own Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy. It’s helping potential customers find us when they search. Phone calls and emails have started to pick up. We like that, and we’re willing to bet that you’d like that to happen at your own business. So we went and created an SEO plan that works. It includes On-page SEO (which is introduced below) and Off-page SEO (which we’ll talk about in another blog post).
On-page SEO services include work done to content and code on the actual pages of your website (hence the name On-page). Here’s what we learned about it.

This post is about a video game. A fighting game. Street Fighter, to be exact.
People have been playing this game since I graduated from High School in 1987. I started playing Street Fighter II in 1991.
Now, we make the official website for it.

Not long ago, Reliable Service Company (RSVC) asked us to put graphics on their new Nissan NV2500 vans. Jobs like this have three components:

So I’m working last night and I hear this repeating sound coming from Brian’s machine – one barely-audible click every 3.867 seconds or so. Wasn’t sure what it was and I didn’t feel like looking into it.
Probably didn’t matter by then, anyway…

Today I decided to see how we ranked on Google. I searched Riverside web design and found us on page nine. That is dumb. I typed in Riverside website design and my company appeared on page four. That was slightly smarter than dumb, but… not by much. Searching website design Riverside displayed us on page five. Oops. Got worse again. And then I tried one more term: Web design Riverside. Pfft. It showed us on page seven.
